DIY Hand Sanitizer

DIY non-toxic hand sanitizer with OnGuard essential oil

If you find yourself looking to stock up on essentials, and can’t find hand sanitizer on the shelves, I want to share a simple option to DIY that’s also boosted by immune supporting essential oils to help keep you and your family protected. While washing your hands is always the best first option, this is a great backup to have in your car, your purse, and really just on you at all times to spray and disinfect not only your hands but surfaces you come in contact with.

The CDC recommends using a hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol to be effective in this current global health landscape.

In a 30ml bottle, add:

  • 3 tbsp. rubbing alcohol

  • 20 drops of OnGuard essential oil

  • 1 tbsp. of fractionated coconut oil

onguard essential oil protective blend

The oils in the OnGuard protective blend are known to support immune systems, and they also add a wonderful aroma to the sanitizer. I have this oil in our diffusers, in all our immunity boosting rollers, and in sanitizer bottles in every place we go. It’s safe to spray on all surfaces and kiddos hands too! If you need to stock up on this powerful blend, head on over here to grab what you need and don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions!
